Life, Theology & Discipleship with Wes Woodell

New Site – weswoodell.com

I sincerely considered penning a rap song, gangsta style, and shooting a video to release to YouTube that I could post here announcing this site’s presence to the world by challenging all comers to a rap battle … but then I realized that idea was so 2001.

And that I’m a 35 year old white man with little street cred.

And that I’d miss my target audience with that tactic getting another audience entirely that I really don’t want.

So let’s try something simpler:

Hi, my name’s Wes. You can read more about who I am and what this site is all about here.

You can sample some of my old writing at my old (now defunct) blog here.

You can submit a Bible or ministry question for me to wrestle with and possibly post about here.

All of the current and new stuff I produce will be posted on this very site – weswoodell.com. I’m using my own name for the site instead of a fancy title simply because it’s easy for people to associate with me and remember.

This website is for people who want to become more like Jesus and help others do the same.

Most of the articles posted here will deal with some aspect of discipleship, evangelism, Christian mentoring or church leadership. If you’re a committed Christian who wants to make a positive impact on the world, someone serving in church leadership, or someone serving in full-time ministry you will likely find content posted here worth your time.

If interacting with this material is something you’re interested in, do me a favor and subscribe by submitting your email address below. That way you won’t have to keep coming back to this site to view new content as articles will be delivered direct to your inbox the morning after each one is written. Subscribing will also qualify you for exclusive content and freebies that will not be available to the general public (like free books and other stuff you’ll find useful).

So this post was the opening salvo, but the first “official” post will be coming in the next couple of days.

It will be the first in a series of articles entitled Reaching the Missing Generation that will outline key characteristics common among evangelistically effective ministries to twenty-somethings.

Thank you all for reading and for your support – I’m looking forward to interacting with you here.
