No Sir you very wrong. Heb 8:13 declares “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” “Away” is aphanismos, Thayer Definition: 1) disappearance 2) destruction. Let me ask you a question, if anyone of you is promoted in your job, do you demand the same conditions of employed is in the old contract of employment, or you enforce the new contract? Jesus fulfilled, meaning they where demands to be met. Eph 2:15 “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;” Each covenant has ordinances and Jesus fulfilled those ordinances and the final closing of that covenant was the destruction of Jerusalem, thats is the reference of fade away on Heb 8:13. The Old Covenant unlike the “forever” Abrahamic and the New Covenants, had to be fulfilled. Gal 3:19 “Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.” The Commandments and Ordinances where part of the covenant inorder to retain the blessed stated of those in the commonwealth of Israel. The sacrificial system was ment to keep them enjoying the blessing not to punish, till Christ institute the real Abrahamic covenant.
