Podcast Interview on Tear Gas & Gumdrops
A couple of months ago I sat down for an interview with the hosts of Tear Gas & Gumdrops – a podcast about the pain and sweetness of Christian ministry.
The show is hosted by Chris Morton and Kyle Sapp – two guys who, like me, spent time studying at both Harding University and Fuller Theological Seminary and have spent the last several years working in full-time ministry.
In the interview we discuss a few painful lessons I’ve learned about church leadership through conflict and failure along with some victories and what keeps me going nowadays.
You can listen to the full podcast via a direct link to the audio here (35:00 mins). If you’d prefer to listen on your Apple device or in iTunes you can access the iTunes feed for the show here (just look for the episode with “Wes Woodell” in the title – currently episode #1 in the feed).
Kyle and Chris would also appreciate it if you’d rate, review, subscribe to and share their podcast with others. They’ve worked hard on it and have a number of episodes available featuring discussions and interviews related to church leadership and ministry – all are free.
NOTE: Apologies to readers for not yet delivering that promised final post in my series on the characteristics of disciplemaking leaders. I’ve been tied up with travel, other work and am actually making this post between a trip out of state and a conference. I’ll complete the series as soon as I can carve out the time. Please subscribe if you’d like to receive that content and all the latest ASAP.
